Welcome, Andrea! You've certainly reached the right place! I'm so excited to help you plan your Disney adventure.
When it comes to an itinerary, did you know that the
My Disney Experience mobile app can help you? Once you have it downloaded and signed into your MyDisney account, you can tell the
Disney Genie Service your preferences, and when the day of your visit comes around, it will give you a suggested itinerary! It's pretty nifty.
But before we get to that, here are some general tips for success:
- Make sure that the theme park tickets you purchase have the Park Hopper Option. Since you'd like to visit all four parks in three days, you'll be visiting two parks on one of your theme park days.
- While it's easy to hop from Magic Kingdom Park to EPCOT, I'd suggest giving Magic Kingdom a full day since it has the most attractions. For your park-hopping day, consider using the Disney Skyliner to travel between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park also opens the earliest, giving you plenty of time to hop to another park later in the day. Just be sure to allow for travel time between parks.
- If you want to get as much done as possible with as little waiting as possible, look into Lightning Lane Passes. These will get you access to shorter waits at some of the most popular rides at the parks.
Now, onto that magical Disney Genie Service. Here we go:
- Download the My Disney Experience mobile app and log in through your My Disney account.
- Scroll down on the main page until you see a "Summon Disney Genie" button underneath "Disney Genie Service." Click that button.
- Click "Start Now" and follow the prompts to select your preferred experiences and interests.
- You can repeat this for each day you are planning on visiting the parks.
- When your magical day arrives, you can click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app and select "My Plans." This is where the Genie will really shine, as it will give you a suggested itinerary for how to accomplish your goals. Just note that these aren't reservations, just suggestions.
And I can't let you go without giving you some suggestions on experiences you might be interested in. Let's do this:
- For thrill-seekers, check out TRON Lightcycle / Run, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom. And for more family-friendly thrills, check out the rides in Fantasyland, but really, all over this park!
- The thrills are plentiful in Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you'll find Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Tower of Terror, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Plus, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway entertains the whole family, as well as the shows and entertainment throughout this park.
- In EPCOT, don't skip out on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for a smooth, thrilling ride, and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After to please everyone.
- Any thrill-seeker would be ecstatic to experience Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in Animal Kingdom. And the whole family can get behind Kilimanjaro Safaris and Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, I'm sure.
Andrea, I’ve really only scratched the surface of all the magic waiting for you at the resort. If you have any other questions,
I’d be so happy to help.
Adventure is out there,
Matt
