Stacy from MS Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Please explain why you are allowed 3 fast pass selections but sometimes you can only choose 2. I am getting a message that I can only have 1 experience. Example, I can't choose Frozen and Soarin' at the same time.

    Hi, Stacy!

The FastPass+ system for Epcot is a bit unique, in that selections are divided into "Tier One" (Test Track, Soarin', Frozen Ever After, and special seating for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth) with the remaining FastPass+ attracations being "Tier 2."  You are able to select ONE FastPass+ from Tier One, and TWO FastPass+ from Tier 2.

You will find this is also the case for Disney's Hollywood Studios, with Tier One and Tier Two FastPass+ selections.  Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom do not have tiers which means you may select ANY 3 FastPass+ selections, based on availability.

After using your first 3 FastPass+ selections, you may go to a park kiosk or the My Disney Experience App on your smart phone to book an additional "rolling" FastPass+ selection.

I know this sounds a bit confusing, but once you start booking your selections, it will all make sense to you. All of us here at the Moms Panel are here to help if you need more assistance. Good luck!
