Hello, Zaida, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question as you prepare for two incredible cruises.
I haven't tried a side-by-side cruise yet, and I am loving the idea of experiencing two different ships one right after the other. I'd love to help you feel prepared for what is ahead for your sailing crew. On your first cruise, you will receive a letter with details about the transfer process. You will be instructed to meet at a certain time and place on the
Disney Magic on the final morning to disembark. You will meet with fellow cruisers who are also moving to the
Disney Wish. You will disembark the ship as a group and then collect your luggage at the terminal for US immigration and Customs inspection.
After your luggage has been inspected, you will board a motorcoach to the Disney Wish terminal. Once you arrive, you will hand over your luggage to a porter to be delivered to the ship. It is very important that you remember to keep your
travel documentation with you to check in again for your second sailing. After you have handed your luggage to the porters, you will be invited to immediately enter the terminal and will be assigned an early boarding group to embark the Disney Wish. Then, the next portion of your adventure will begin!
Disney Cruise Line aims to make the process as smooth sailing as possible, so you can seamlessly blend the two cruises into one long vacation. The more I think about this, the more I want to make it happen!
I hope you have a fantastic time making memories aboard the Magic and Wish. Enjoy!
