Please explain the 1 hour window when using a fastpass. When does the window start?

    Hi, Janet!

You are going to love having the opportunity to use FastPass+. It is so great to hop in the FastPass+ queue and just zip past the stand-by line. You can use that time you would have spent in line on important things - like eating Mickey ice cream bars or shopping!

When you book your selections, you will pick a one hour time frame for each FastPass+. You must arrive during that scheduled time. If your pass for Splash Mountain is from 10:15am - 11:15am, you have during that hour of time to arrive for the attraction. Anytime during that hour, head to the FastPass+ queue, scan your MagicBand, and you will be admitted into that line. There is a bit of a cushion, as Cast Members will usually let you enter the queue if you are less than 15 minutes past the scheduled time. If it is longer than that, you will need to rebook that FastPass+ (based on availability) at a park kiosk or on the My Disney Experience app on your smartphone.

When booking, make sure you don't pick any times that are too close to a dining reservation or too early in the morning if you like to sleep in. I like to book my FastPass+ for the afternoon hours when the parks are the most crowded. You can book 3 FastPass+ selections per day when you are 60 days away from arrival (Disney resort guests) or 30 days ahead (guests who are not staying at a Disney resort).

If you have any questions about when you can get in line, ask a Cast Member at any attraction. They are always outside each queue and happy to assist!
