Please explain how Genie+ service works when combined with a Park Hopper ticket? Specifically, will I be able to schedule future LL ride times at a different park or do I have to wait until I scan in to the second park to get additional LL ride times?

    Hi Jennifer!  Welcome to planDisney!

I bet you and your party are getting super excited about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.  With the Walt Disney World Resort currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary, you're in for special EARidescent decorations and yummy, sweet surprises at every turn!  Have you ever made your own popcorn concoction at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park?  A friend of mine recently visited the Resort and came back with her choice of popcorn, drizzle, and mix-ins to create her very own personalized variety of popcorn! Not only was it delicious, but she said the experience was really fun.  Maybe it's something you'll want to try on your next visit!

If you're planning on using Disney Genie+ Service AND a Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket you are in for some of the BEST days! I can't say enough about the benefits of "hopping" from Park to Park in the afternoon.  Any time after 2 p.m. you and your party will be able to leave whichever Park you started your morning at and make your way to a new destination.  My family and I love to take a midday break for a nap and a swim at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel before heading out to a dinner reservation and fireworks, like Disney Enchantment or Harmonious, at night.  I just love having the flexibility to grab a last-minute in-Park dining reservation or be more spontaneous with our Park plans.  A Park Hopper is a must-have for us.

When it comes to using Disney Genie+ Service with a Park Hopper, the Genie in your pocket is ready to help! There are two ways to let Genie+ "know" about your plans to Hop, including making an Individual Lightning Lane reservation at a different Park from your morning Park Pass Reservation or simply "telling" the Genie your plans!  Once you've purchased Disney Genie+ Service you'll be able to access it on your My Disney Experience mobile app.  Simply open the app, click on "My Genie Day" and then scroll to the bottom of the screen.  Here, you'll find a button that says "Plan For Your Next Park" which allows you to start booking Lightning Lanes during the afternoon and evening periods when you will be able to hop to another Park!

With access to Lightning Lane attractions at one, two, three, or even FOUR Parks a day you're sure to ride as many attractions as possible before the day is through!  I hope you're ready for all the action!
    Happy Hopping!

As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
