Please explain the ChEAR Squad for the Princess 5K which takes place in Feb 2017. Is this a situation where small children are cared for by Disney employees so parents can participate in the run? If not, any other suggestions on child care during the race?

    Hi Jennie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The ChEAR Squad consists of different packages for spectators to purchase that include multiple levels of spectating benefits.  The highest level package includes entry into the race retreat tent, reserved seating and more.  None of them include any type of childcare.

I do have a recommendation for you, though. In the past, I have used Kids Nite Out for my boys.  They will come directly to your room so your kids don't even have to wake up as you leave super early for the race. Their sitters are all highly-trained and I have been extremely pleased every time.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
