I hope you’ve been taking advantage of all of the wonderful
perks and benefits that come with being a
Disney Vacation Club Member! Aside from the Deluxe Accommodations and best locations on property, you’ll also have access to things like discounts on food and merchandise, discounts on events and tours, special member events and member only lounges! These are just a few of the perks available to eligible members. Remember, perks come and go so always check what’s available so that you’re able to take full advantage of your membership.
One of the many big perks about your Disney Vacation Club Membership is that in addition to being able to use your points at the resorts in the Disney Vacation Club portfolio, you can also use your points to stay at other hotels in the US and across the world!
Depending on your membership, you may be eligible to use your Disney Vacation Club Points on the the
Concierge Collection. The Concierge Collection is a group of resorts that have been hand picked as some of the best resorts but are not affiliated with Disney. In order to use your points at these resorts you must have a certain amount of direct points or be grandfathered into this perk.
Another option currently available to all Disney Vacation Club Members is to use their points at one of the many options in the
World Collection- RCI. There are many locations across the US and across the world to choose from. Even if you don’t know where you want to stay just yet, you can transfer your points in to be used at a later date. This is a great option if you know you won't be using your points and want to extend their shelf life through a hotel not affiliated with Disney. Give
Member Services a call and they'll be happy to walk you through the process.
