A very merry welcome to planDisney, Roberto!
I can think of no better way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year than with a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Before you know it, you'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. adorned with garland and shining in the glow of lights. If there's no chance of snow, I love to pretend that the bubbles trailing behind tiny Mouseketeers are flurries floating in the breeze.
Speaking of Main Street, it's the
practically perfect place to catch Magic Kingdom Park's seasonal fireworks display,
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. While this festive display is typically reserved for Guests of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it temporarily becomes Magic Kingdom Park's nighttime fireworks display once the specially ticketed event concludes for the season on December 20. Currently, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show is scheduled to begin at 8 PM on Christmas Eve, but because times are always subject to change, I suggest keeping an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar as the date approaches. Because you're hoping to enjoy the display on Christmas Eve, a very popular day to visit Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest securing your viewing spot well in advance if you're hoping for a vantage point near Cinderella Castle.
Although the show lasts approximately 15 minutes, you'll want to allow plenty of time to navigate your way through the theme park (or to a Disney Resort Hotel located along the monorail) among your fellow Guests as you make your way to dinner following the fireworks. Personally, I recommend grabbing dinner at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Not only is it conveniently located just a short walk from Cinderella Castle in Adventureland, but it also features a delightfully unique menu served wide a side of puns worthy of the World Famous
Jungle Cruise.
I ho-ho-hope this was, Roberto, and that a holly jolly holiday awaits. Feel free to
stop back by if any additional questions arise as you finalize your plans. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
