Will you please clearly describe the Fantasmic viewing with the dining packages. Does one have a section where everyone stays seated for the whole show? We have two small children and we don't want to have to stand and carry them to see it all.

Hi Kate! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by our happy website to ask this great question.

How exciting that you're planning a family visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! I have experienced two of the four Fantasmic! Dining Packages that are currently offered, and I'm happy to help. The great news is that all of the Fantasmic! Dining Packages include a reserved viewing area. The amount of time you arrive before the show starts, will determine what your view will look like. In my experience, both the Blue Bayou Restaurant dining package and the River Belle Terrace standard packages have a reserved viewing area in which you will be seated on the ground. If you opt for one of these packages, they both have great views. The sooner you arrive, the better chance you will have of being seated at the front of the section. I have sat both against the railing along the waterside and a couple of rows of people back from the railing. I think sitting away from the railing is the best view.

If you choose the River Belle Terrace Premium Package, you will be viewing Fantasmic! from the table where you will eat. It is an elevated seating area, so your view shouldn't be obstructed by those standing and if you prefer not to sit on the ground, this is the best option. The Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant will also have a reserved viewing area.

I recommend choosing the menu and seating that best fits your family's preferences. Whichever one you choose, I'm sure you will love seeing Mickey's imagination come to life! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please feel free to stop by planDisney again. You've got a friend in us, and we would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
