Welcome to planDisney, Johanna. I'm so happy you reached out to us with your question!
The Disney100 Celebration is a unique occasion to take a look back at all the magic the
Walt Disney Company has brought to us over the years. Whether it's the first full feature-length animated film,
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first of its kind fully immersive theme park,
Disneyland Park, or perhaps the highly anticipated movie
Wish coming to theaters this November, there is always something to remember and celebrate. And the
Disneyland Resort has been the center of the celebration!
At this time, there has not been a specific date announced as to when the Disney100 Celebration will come to an end. We can likely expect it to continue through at least the end of 2023, but I would suggest following along with the
Disney Parks Blog for more details. In fact, they just recently announced that
EPCOT over on the east coast will soon be starting its celebration from September 22 to December 31, 2023.
At the start of the Disney100 Celebration,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway opened in the recently reimagined
Mickey's Toontown area of Disneyland Park, and that will continue to be an amazing experience long after the celebration has concluded. While I have not yet experienced this attraction in California, I
have experienced it over at
Walt Disney World, and I can say with confidence that you're in for a treat when you ride it. When I visit the Disneyland Resort later in August, I can't wait to experience the queue of this attraction as it's supposed to be incredibly immersive with lots of fun details and Easter eggs!
Johanna, however you celebrate, I hope you keep the Disney memories that mean the most to you in your heart. Please
reach out again if you have any other questions.
Magic happens,
Matt
