Please clarify if 60 days out for P.M DINING ressie is too risky since i wont know UNTIL DAY of meal, if theme park is available for ressie (after 2 pm park hopping window) ! Worried that i will have to pay $10 fee if i cant get in park for dining ressie

    Hi there Lori,

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here at planDisney with your great question about Advanced Dining Reservations.  It looks like you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort later this month.  I absolutely love the Holiday Season at Walt Disney World Resort, there is nothing more magical than celebrating the magic of the season with all of the festive experiences and beautiful decorations.

I am so happy to see that you are planning ahead and making Advanced Dining Reservations for your upcoming visit.  Since you are planning to visit during a busy time of year, I recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservations for the same park that you have made your Theme Park Reservation or at a Dining Location outside of a Theme Park either at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or Disney Springs.  While not very likely, if a Theme Park does reach capacity, guests will not be able to enter and you may end up not making your reservation which would result in being charged a fee for missing your reservation.  If you have a must do restaurant it would be best if you make the reservation for a day you know you will be in that Theme Park first and then hop over to the second Theme Park after dining, just to be safe.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Lori.  If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney, we are always happy to help.
