I was just as excited as you when we learned that
1900 Park Fare Reopens April 10 at Disney's Grand Floridian. When it reopens for breakfast and dinner, characters will include Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana. Looking at your arrival date, you may be able to
make a reservation!
This has always been one of our absolute favorite
character dining experiences! As you get ready to make those
advanced dining reservations, be flexible. I would be prepared to check any day of your stay to see if there are times available. In the past, with hard to get dining reservations, I have always checked days towards the end of our stay first and checked all available meal periods.
If you will have little ones with you, remember to have them dressed in their royal best. When we took our girls on their first trip, this was one of their very first character dining experiences and it was so much fun! Years later, one of them said that she remembered worrying that Cinderella would be jealous when she took a photo with Prince Charming (our girls were 5-years old at the time, so clearly no competition for Cinderella!). We love all of the photos from that evening and the girls still smile when describing that experience!
As you continue to plan, I hope you do make a few other dining reservations. We also love breakfast at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and
Cinderella's Royal Table. Hopefully, by now, you have started creating a spreadsheet with your plans. We put everything on the spreadsheet including flight numbers, dining reservations confirmation numbers, and other
Enchanted Extras Collection experiences.
Yolanda, as excited as we are about the character experience at 1900 Park Fare, keep in mind that characters are subject to change. For now, my girls and I cannot wait to meet Tiana there. Now that they are teenagers, they may not be able to arrive in princess dresses, but they will certainly be
Disney Bounding!
