Will you please advise if you've encountered any issues with the Murphy style (side table) beds in the Pop Century resort? Is it easy to pull down? Is it comfortable? Is it easy to not run into?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sharon!

I stayed in the gorgeous, newly renovated guest rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort last month and I was so impressed with the changes that were made. I appreciate their decision to install Murphy beds because the room is so spacious when the Murphy bed is stored vertically against the wall. The table that appears once the Murphy bed is stowed is a fabulous place for breakfast.

My traveling companion and I pulled the Murphy bed down every evening and it was incredibly easy. Even more impressive was that the bed was large and very comfortable. It was a nice thick, queen size mattress and my friend slept well on it.

Do note that when the bed is pulled down, there isn't copious space left to navigate the room. You can easily walk around the bed but there is not much room for luggage. Therefore, I highly recommend you stow your empty suitcases under the other bed so you have amble space to get around the room when both beds are set up for sleeping.

Enjoy your time at Disney's Pop Century Resort and please have some tie-dye cheesecake at the Everything Pop Shopping & Dining food court for me while you're there.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
