Hi Emma! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
The
14-Day Disney Magic Ticket is currently offered to Guests residing in Great Britain and provides great value for your stay. You'll essentially receive double the amount of park days for the same price! If you are planning on a longer visit, these extra park days will come in handy during your trip.
I took a look at the availability of tickets during the time frame you mentioned and it does seem that the 14-day ticket is blocked out from beginning on October 1st through October 17th. If you were planning on starting your ticket window on any of these days, you will not be allowed to at this time. While I was unable to receive a clear answer as to why this is the case, I was able to determine that the 14-day ticket is not allowed to begin during this time frame. I also checked if this was the case for vacation packages that include your Disney Resorts hotel reservation. After plugging in an arrival date of October 5th, the website provided a disclaimer that the 14-Day Disney Magic Ticket would not be available for this reservation.
If you are flexible on your arrival date, you can use this special ticket offer beginning on September 30th. You'll have an 18-day window beginning on this date to use your tickets within. If you are set on your dates, I suggest
contacting the Walt Disney Travel Company. A Cast Member will be able to assist further and possibly provide a bit more insight about your request.
Emma, I hope you have a magical vacation next year! Please stop back and
see us again at planDisney! We'll be happy to help answer any questions that come your way!
Happy planning!
Greg
