Please advise...wanting to rent a scooter while at Disney....please give me recommendations...

Hi there, Janice! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

As someone with a disability that impacts my mobility, I would not be able to enjoy my visits Walt Disney World Resort without my own mobility devices! That being said, Walt Disney World Resort has many different options for Guests that need to rent wheelchairs or ECVs during their stays.

Guests may rent ECVs at all theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. It is important to note, though, that ECVs may not be removed from the location they are rented. So, if you rent an ECV for the day at the Magic Kingdom, you would have to return your rented ECV whenever you leave the park. However, you can show your rental receipt at a different rental location and pick up another ECV rental, if available.

If you feel as though you would benefit from having an ECV both inside and outside of the parks, I would recommend renting one from a Disney Featured Provider. These are local companies that provide ECV, wheelchair, and other mobility device rentals for the duration of your stay and are able to deliver directly to your Disney Resort hotel. All you will need to do is call one of these providers to arrange the delivery of your ECV and you will be ready to go!

Have fun preparing for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
