Greetings, Audrey! Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for your vacation preparation! I travel with my two kids and our double stroller a lot, so I’m here to help you out! Yes, a double stroller is allowed on Walt Disney World busses, monorails and water crafts, but it must be folded for safety. We don’t want little munchkins rolling around everywhere! I like to either bring our double stroller from home or rent from
Kingdom Strollers, since they provide a rain cover and cooler in the price of the rental.
As far as birthdays go, I wish your birthday girl a fabulous celebration! Sad to say, Magic Kingdom table service restaurant cakes are no longer available, but I suggest ordering the gray stuff… it’s delicious! And if you don’t believe me, you can ask the dishes! You may be able to mention the birthday celebration to your server… you never know what magic may be around the corner!
After that, you can return to your Resort hotel room, where with the help of
Disney Floral and Gifts, you can have a custom cake, in-room celebration or have other
incredible magic delivered straight to your room. Be sure to press the FRONT DESK button on your room phone as soon as you check in and you’ll be connected with a Cast Member. He or she can help you schedule a special birthday greeting from our favorite silly pal, Goofy! Won’t that be a surprise for your granddaughter? Be sure to film her reaction for magic you can play back the next day. I hope you and your family have a magical celebration, and we are so glad you are headed to Walt Disney World Resort to… BE OUR GUEST! :) ~ Lindsey P.
