Hi Alison!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question! I'm excited that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this year! With so many new experiences coming to the parks, you are in for a magical visit!
Alison, I don't come bearing the best news. Currently, Guests residing in Great Britain are only able to purchase
Disney Magic Tickets in increments of 7 and 14 days. These tickets come with a host of benefits including the Park Hopper Option and Memory Maker. If for some reason your plans change and you are able to spend more time on-site, Disney Magic Tickets will be your best option.
Single-day tickets can be purchased upon arrival to the United States by utilizing the
US-based Walt Disney World website. The cost will vary depending on the date you plan to visit. Currently, tickets start at $109 per person for Guests ages 10 years and older. This price is subject to change at any time, so keep this in mind before making your purchase.
Since
theme park reservations are required for entry into the parks each day, I suggest checking the
theme park availability calendar before finalizing your purchase when arriving in the United States. It's possible that the Magic Kingdom or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will not have availability during the dates you plan to visit. The earlier you can make your purchase will help ensure you can visit the park you want to. If you plan to visit both parks on the same day, you'll need to buy park hopper tickets to be able to do so. You'll need to make a park reservation to the first park you plan to visit, then you can hop to the second park starting at 2 PM on that day.
Alison, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay!
