Greetings, Joss, and a big warm welcome to planDisney! Walt Disney World transportation is one of my very favorite topics, so I'm thrilled to help you find your way around The Most Magical Place on Earth!
First of all, I'm so excited to hear that you'll be staying at
Disney's Beach Club Resort during your upcoming trip. This is one of my favorite
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and it's a great place to call home during your Disney vacation. This is
especially true if you love Disney transportation as much as I do! My family loves how connected we feel when we stay at the Beach Club. Not only are you walking distance to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you can also travel by
boat, by
bus, or even by the
Disney Skyliner! There are several convenient (and fun!) ways to get around, so let's chat about your options for travel to Magic Kingdom Park.
Joss, there are two
direct ways to travel from the Beach Club over to Magic Kingdom. As you already know, the first option is to ride the Disney bus, which runs periodically throughout the day. Your second option is a
Minnie Van™ Connected by Lyft. To book a Minnie Van, use your Lyft app to request and pay for your ride. It's a fast and easy way to get around, especially if you're short on time!
But as you already know, it's not (just) the destination, it's the journey - especially in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Since you're not in a hurry to get where you're going, there's also a third option I think you might like. Joss, if you've purchased a
7-Day or 14-Day Magic Ticket, you can visit multiple theme parks in one day. This means that you can also travel to the Magic Kingdom
via EPCOT. This route will take a little longer than a bus or a Minnie Van, but my husband and I love taking the scenic route whenever we have the time!
Here's how: first, walk (or take the boat) to EPCOT and enter through the International Gateway. Next, make your way to the front entrance of the park. For us, this usually involves a snack-related detour (like grabbing a Frozen Viking Coffee at
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe!). Finally, exit the park and hop on the
monorail to speed over to Magic Kingdom. Yes, this route means extra steps and extra time, but it's always a fun-filled adventure!
I hope this information is helpful, Joss, and that your upcoming visit is nothing short of magical. If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney!
Adventure awaits,
Allison
