Ahoy Barbara!
Thanks so much for the compliment! All the planDisney panelists are more than happy to help Guests make the most of their magical time at sea. Seems like you have an excellent idea already in doing two
back-to-back sailings. Bravo!
I know this season of returning to cruising has proven to be new and different. Yet it’s also very exciting to finally be able to anticipate and experience Disney cruising again, isn’t it? While I can advise you on what is currently happening with the new procedures, things could also look different once you set sail next spring. So keep a weather eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Experience Updates to track the most up-to-date information.
If Guests test positive between back-to-back cruises, then their luggage will either already be in their possession or arrangements will be made to get all the luggage to them. Naturally, that would mean they could not return to the ship. Testing takes place at the cruise terminal (not on the ship), so upon a negative COVID test result, back-to-back guests will be allowed to reboard the ship once it has been cleared for the next voyage. Because that process may take a while between the morning disembarkation time and the all clear to board is issued, I suggest that you bring whatever might keep you and your travel party entertained, including toys, games, and snacks.
Sending you all the pixie dust that your back-to-back voyages go off without a hitch. Barbara, sail straight past the second star to the right and straight on to
planDisney if you need more planning assistance.
Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust,
Sherry
