    Hello, can you please advise what is happening with Fantasmic? I would like to make reservations for January 3rd but they are not available. Will Fantasmic be running in the New Year?

    Welcome, and thanks for sending us your Disneyland Resort question. It sounds like you’re getting excited to visit the Happiest Place on Earth in the New Year! 

    Fantasmic! lights up the night at Disneyland Park as Mickey battles the forces of good and evil in his dream. It’s my all-time favorite nighttime show at the resort because it’s the perfect blend of live-action entertainment, high-tech special effects and dazzling pyrotechnics, so I’m glad you’re interested in enjoying it! I am not able to view performance dates for Fantasmic! beyond December at this time either. However, I have not heard that the show is going on hiatus or closing for refurbishment soon. Sometimes the online entertainment schedule only updates a few weeks at a time, typically giving showtimes no more than six weeks in advance. So, depending on when you take a peek, the website might not always reflect what is planned for the coming months. I recommend that you continue to check disneyland.com as your vacation approaches for the latest information.
