Can you please advise if the Fantasmic Dessert & VIP Viewing is a seasonal experience? I try to book reservations for March 2019 but it is "shaded out". When I've called they've been unable to provide an answer.

    Hi Dawn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Fantasmic! is my absolute favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World Resort. The stunts, the evil villains, Steamboat Willie filled with dozens of favorite characters - talk about the perfect way to end a Disney Day!

I visited Walt Disney World Resort in March where I treated my family to the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience. I also had issues reserving this dessert party once my 180 Advance Dining Reservation window opened, but through my time on the Disney Parks Moms Panel I've learned that Dessert Parties and special Dining Events don't follow the same reservation booking timeline as traditional Table-Service meals. Instead, each event opens their own reservation calendar anywhere between 45 to 120 days in advance of your desired dining date.

For our trip, I remember booking this event in December of last year. This dessert party is one that opens an entire month of dates once the first day of the booking month is 90 days out, so you should be able to reserve your party on December 1. If you're still unable to book this reservation by mid-December, call the Disney Dining Reservation line at (407) 939-1947 to see if they can offer more assistance.

I do hope that you enjoy your time at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and that you Play Big in Andy's backyard in the brand new Toy Story Land!

I hope this helped, Dawn, and We'll See You in 2019!
