If I have a Plaza Inn reservation at 9:30 am and staying at a Disneyland Resort, what time can I enter the park and where?

Hey there, hi there, Kara! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

Before you know it, you'll be arriving at the Disneyland Resort, ready to begin your magical adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth. How exciting! Since you are staying at one of the fabulous Disneyland Resort hotels and starting your Disney day with "Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park" at Plaza Inn, it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start! Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your pixie-dusted countdown to the fun.

Since you will be staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, as long as you have valid theme park admission and a reservation, you will be able to take advantage of Early Entry at the Disneyland Resort and enter the parks 30 minutes before they open. During your visit, it looks like Disneyland Park opens at 8:00 a.m., so you will be able to enter the park at 7:30 a.m. with Early Entry. That will give you more than enough time to hop on some attractions before your delicious breakfast with Minnie and all of her pals!

To enter Disneyland Park with your theme park admission and reservation, you have two options: on foot at the Main Gate Esplanade or via the Disneyland Monorail. When I stay at Disneyland Hotel, I prefer to walk from my hotel, through the Downtown Disney District, and into the Main Gate entrance of the park for Early Entry. If you enter this way, you will find Plaza Inn at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. on your right. If you prefer to take the monorail from the Downtown Disney District station (on the hotel side of Downtown Disney), you will enter the park right in Tomorrowland. The monorail will begin running for Early Entry Guests at 7:30 a.m. during your visit.

I suggest deciding which attractions you'd like to ride before breakfast and planning which entrance you'd like to use accordingly. If you want to hit some attractions in Tomorrowland first, you may want to take the monorail into the park. However, if you plan on riding attractions in Fantasyland during Early Entry or any other lands after park opening, I suggest entering via the Main Gate. Let the magic begin!

I hope this helps, Kara, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
