    We would like to play golf on our trip. We are DVC members. Would it be cheaper to pay full price and get the free club rentals or are there special discounts for DVC members that would be a better value?

    This is a great question!

    Take a look at this Special Offer for Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests, which details the specifics of the complimentary club rental. Calculate the amount of money you'll be saving on club rental by checking out Walt Disney World Resort Golf Lessons and Rentals. At the time of this writing, that savings could be $45 per adult. Now, for Greens Fees, etc., look at the Walt Disney World Resort Golf Course Rates, which will show you rates based on the time of year as well as the time of day that you'd like to golf.

    Next, head over to dvcmember.com, find "Member Privileges" near the top of the page and select "Member Perks." Then click on "Walt Disney World Resort Perks," and "Recreation." Click on "Championship Golf" and you'll see a variety of great discounts offered to Disney Vacation Club Members. At the time of this writing, for example, DVC Members "can enjoy savings up to 35% off the WDW Resort Guest rates" for 18-hole rounds. In addition, DVC Members can play Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course for $20 per 9-hole round.

    I suggest that you compare the two totals and go with whichever one suits your needs best. Either way, you can't go wrong with these special offers! And what a wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors, on one of Disney's award-winning golf courses! Enjoy!
