Welcome to planDisney Shanice!
I’ll try to hit a hole-in-one without taking a mulligan on this answer!
I’m going to be totally honest and tell you that I have never heard of
FootGolf and now I’m absolutely intrigued! I’ve played ball golf and disc golf and putt-putt golf, but I’ve never set foot on a FootGolf course!
The answer to your question is not a hole-in-one. It’s more like a drive out of bounds followed by a nine iron to the green and a short putt for a birdie! I’m on the tee!
I talked with two cast members who were on par when they gave me the following information. First, you must go to
FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course website and select a tee-time to play FootGolf. According to the cast member, the tee times are normally only in the late afternoon to early evening, so they wouldn’t match up to your morning breakfast plans. After you secure your tee time and you arrive at the resort, show the information to the front desk at
Disney’s All-Star Sports. They will provide you with a complimentary taxi service voucher to the
Oak Trail Golf Course. You can only use this voucher at the Disney Resort hotel that you are registered at, so you would not be able to get this complimentary service at another location. So, you would only be able to go directly to the course from All-Star Sports.
Now let’s get our fairway iron out, or I guess our size ten shoes out and get you to your yummy breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
One of the best ways to the Polynesian would be to catch a
complimentary theme park bus to the Magic Kingdom park from All-Star Sports and transfer to a water launch or Resort Monorail bound for the Polynesian. I would allow at least 60 minutes for travel time just to be safe and know that you’ll get to your reservation on time. This will get you to your breakfast, but if you want to go directly to your foot golf tee time from this location you will need to hire a ride share service or a taxi on your own to get to the course. One of the cast members I talked with confirmed that walking to the course from the Polynesian resort is not an option at this time.
So, Shanice, if your breakfast plans remain the same and your FootGolf tee time ends up being on the same day but possibly later in the afternoon, you will need to work your way back to All-Star Sports in order to access the complimentary taxi service for your tee time.
Getting back to All-Star Sports from the Polynesian resort is a simple back track of the way you arrived. Either a nice leisurely boat ride or monorail to the Magic Kingdom and a resort bus back to your home base.
Shanice, I can’t wait to hear if you hit a hole-in-one, or like me, hit a car in the parking lot with a stray tee shot. Yes, that has happened.
Have a magical time!
