Do Platinum Annual Passholders get to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours or is it only for those who stay in a hotel?

    Hi Roslynn,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

Extra Magic Hours are a great benefit for guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel. With Extra Magic Hours, certain theme parks open early or stay open late on certain days.

Extra Magic Hours are available to guests at Walt Disney World resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, Shades of Green Resort, and residents of Disney Golden Oak and their guests. Extra Magic Hours are not a benefit of being an Annual Passholder. Of course, if you are staying at one of the aforementioned resorts, then you are free to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours!

Do not forget to take advantage of the many Annual Passholder benefits that do come with your annual pass. My family and I just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World, and we especially enjoyed the 20% discount on select dining locations available to annual passholders to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Walt Disney World. This discount is available through December 23, 2017.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Roslynn. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
