Hiya Becky and welcome to planDisney!
The Walt Disney World Resort is literally The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's a beautiful place to experience so many of life's firsts. I've seen people get engaged there, get married there, announce babies and so much more. This pandemic has altered a lot of those plans for so many but of course, you want your baby to have some special moments too. While there are no dates released for the offerings you mentioned, keep an eye out on Disney Parks Blog for any new updates. And definitely
feel free to reach out and let Walt Disney World know how much you miss these offerings. But let's make some magic for your baby girl anyway!
While hugs aren't back just yet, baby girl can still have some awesome character interactions around the Disney Parks. Just check the
My Disney Experience app by changing that drop-down setting in the maps section to Characters or Entertainment to find them. They're still there to talk to your baby girl and play with her and give her all the love and pixie dust they can muster. And the best part is you can still get some great photos! Be sure to get her some Mickey Ears to commemorate this first trip. Drop into Box Office Gifts on Main Street U.S.A. in
Magic Kingdom Park where they can embroider them with her name as a wonderful first for her. Then
visit Mickey at Town Square Theater and prepare to cry at such a sweet moment between your daughter and the only mouse she'll ever love. And make sure to catch the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade that has just recently returned. It's a favorite of all ages and all the music and bright colors are sure to spark the magic in her little eyes.
Becky, I know things may be a little different than you planned. But just like parenthood, a Disney day, and our friend Crush the sea turtle, sometimes we just have to go with the flow.
Happy planning!
Taylor
