Are the plastic cups and water bottles BPA free that are sold in the parks and on website. Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jean! Grabbing complimentary cups of water, as well as purchasing a few water bottles during my Park day is something I do often! I’ve also been seeing the holiday refillable Resort mugs being rolled out and I adore the new designs. I’ve got to get one next year.

I did a little research for you, and can confirm that yes! The refillable Resort Mugs as well as the Dasani plastic water bottles sold in the Parks are BPA free. You can sip with confidence. As for the other cups, they are paper with little wax, so no plastic in there. The glasses you’ll find in your Resort rooms are either glass cups or paper cups wrapped in a sanitary sleeve. As always, you are free to bring your own refillable water bottle for water all day long. I often bring my Contigo and store it in my backpack for when thirsty kids start calling.

If I can help you find out more about conservation measures that Disney is working on, please let me know. The Animal conservation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is mindblowing and something I’m always proud to learn about. I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
