    I plan to get to Typhoon Lagoon when it opens. If I also want to check out Blizzard Beach later that day, what is a good time to head over?

    Hi Heather! I love that you are going to soak up some Florida sun and plan to maximize your water park time! That sounds amazing!!!

    Given your potential schedule, I would definitely encourage you to do exactly as you plan and arrive at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park when it opens. Typically, we are able to enjoy all that we want to (and more) by 1:00 P.M. If this time works for you, you can then head over to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and stay until closing. This sounds sensational! I think I may tweak my itinerary for my family's upcoming vacation and do this very same thing! Thanks so much for your wonderful question/suggestion!!!

    For your planning purposes, when we go to the water parks, we are on the go non-stop moving from attraction to attraction. If you would prefer some down time, you may need to change your departure time a bit one way or the other based on which water park you plan to spend the most time.

    We love both water parks!! Crush 'n' Gusher at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is fantastic as is Teamboat Springs at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Make sure either Castaway Creek or Cross Country Creek are on your must do list. A blissful ride around a lazy river is always a great way to put the finishing touch on your fun day in the water park.
