WE are planting to use scooter in the parks. Have they corrected the bus service for people with scooter. What is is the average wait time for a bus.

    Welcome to planDisney, Jean!

Taking scooters or ECVs on Walt Disney World Resort transportation can be both a blessing and a curse.

Jean, as you may know, each Walt Disney World Resort bus can accommodate 2 ECVs. Since ECVs are loaded before any other guests, your wait time may vary greatly. When I visited last week, I saw some situations where only 1 ECV was waiting in a line of people miles long, and others where there were more ECV parties than non-ECV parties. Since buses come every 20 minutes, I would expect that it would average out to around a 20-minute wait for your wait time.

Where possible, I recommend that you stay at properties that provide alternate transportation to the parks, like Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where you can hop aboard the Disney Skyliner

If you are looking for a bit more of a splurge, Disney's Yacht Club Resort offers boat transportation that can accommodate an ECV to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT,  while the newly-renovated Disney's Contemporary Resort offers monorail transportation to the Magic Kingdom.

I hope that this helped put your mind at ease a bit, Jean.

    Enjoy your trip!
