Hello. I see the plant based menu has been significantly updated as of January 8, 2026. Is there a comprehensive list of all plant based or vegan options at Disneyland Resort? I would like to come prepared to avoid wasting time in the parks. TIA!

Greetings, Megan, and welcome to planDisney! You're right, there were quite a few plant-based items that recently came to the Disneyland Resort. As a long-time vegan who loves spending time at the Happiest Place on Earth, I'm excited to help you prepare for a plant-based foodie adventure!

Megan, you can explore the Disneyland Resort's newest food and drink items on the Disney Parks Blog. A recent article highlights all the latest menu options, with plant-based items clearly indicated.

Of the new menu items I've tried, the Ratatouille Soup from Harbour Galley might be my favorite. It was slightly spicy, flavorful, and filling. I have my eye on the Garden Vegetable Shepherd's Pie from Cafe Orleans and the San Fransokyo Noodle Stir-Fry from Lucky Fortune Cookery for my next visit. Pink Milk recently arrived in Galaxy's Edge, and it's plant-based. If you like strawberry banana flavor, you might enjoy this frozen rice milk treat!

There are plenty more options outside of the new offerings, too. While there's not currently an area on the Disneyland website or mobile app that lists every plant-based item, the options are easy to find on the individual menus. Many locations have a "plant-based" section online or in the app, or include a leaf icon on printed menus. These items are prepared without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey.

To make the most of your visit, browse the dining locations on the website ahead of time and note any items that you really want to try. Here are a few plant-based favorites that I return to again and again, in no particular order (just remember that menus are subject to change):

    • Pym Test Kitchen: Neutron Nachos
    • Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta: Creamy Marinara Primavera
    • Paradise Garden Grill: Carne Asada Wet Burrito
    • Shawarma Palace: Impossible Victory Falafel
    • Lamplight Lounge: Brussels Caesar and Brownie
    • Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop: Non-Dairy Hot Fudge Sundae
    • Smokejumpers Grill: Double Impossible Cheeseburger
    • Carnation Café: Allergy-Friendly Waffles and Potatoes
    • Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree: Corn Ribs Plate
    • Ronto Roasters: Ronto-less Garden Wrap
The Downtown Disney District has some great options, too. Naples Ristorante e Bar currently offers a vegan pizza, vegan bolognese, and minestrone soup. Din Tai Fung has quite a few clearly labeled vegan options, too – the Soy Noodle Salad and Shanghai Rice Cakes are so good, I could eat them daily!

I highly recommend the World of Color Dessert Party in California Adventure, too. You can request a vegan platter when booking your reservation. When I last went, the spread included chocolate, chia pudding, a cherry crumble, and more. I enjoyed it with a seated view of World of Color Happiness!

For snack time, Disneyland popcorn is vegan-friendly, including the fresh caramel corn on Buena Vista Street! The iconic Mickey-shaped pretzel with mustard is also a great option.

Megan, I hope this was helpful to you. Feel free to send me more questions as you plan meals and snacks ahead of your trip. I'm happy to help!

As Chef Remy reminds us, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." Luckily, there’s no shortage of amazing, plant-based options at the Disneyland Resort!
