I have plans to stay at Port Orleans Riverside during the Easter Long Weekend. Are there any special Easter activities I should know which would help me decide which park to go to on which day. I arrive on Good Friday in the afternoon and leave Tuesday.

    Hi Marcie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's wonderful to hear you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort real soon.

Usually, the Disney Parks Blog shares information about celebrating Easter at Walt Disney World Resort as the holiday approaches. They are my go-to for what's "hop-ening" around property, but I haven't seen anything posted about this year's "eggs-periences." It may be just a "hare" too early, so make sure you keep an eye on the blog for more information.

I can tell you that in the past there were quite a few special activities planned. Magic Kingdom usually hosts Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, Epcot has a fun Easter egg hunt and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa hosts a spectacular decorative egg display. There have also been special Easter-themed treats and dining options throughout the resort. If you're interested in attending religious services, they are usually offered at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Have a very "hoppy" vacation, Marcie, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with. We're all EARS!

    Magical Wishes,
