Are there any plans to offer Military Discounts beyond valid September 28, 2013? We arrive September 29 in the WDW Resort. Also looking for information on Military discounts on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

    Hi, Gordon!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question. The Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t offer a permanent military discount for tickets or hotel prices but has instead offered long promotions (spanning several months) in the recent past. While the current promotion available to active and retired U.S. military personnel does end on September 28 of this year, a new offer could become available shortly after. Discounted tickets for select Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates have been available to members of the military in the past, but possible offers have not yet been announced for 2013.

Check the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World Resort website often to see if military discounts on park tickets, resort hotel stays, or special event tickets become available for the dates of your visit. Past offers can be a good indicator of future specials, but there are no guarantees, of course.

Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your vacation, Gordon!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
