Plans need changing as our friend(who is going)works in the school and i didnt know she has many mandatory meetings 8/2014. So our options are during a school vaca week(dec, apr)or the end of july-beg of august). is it too late to plan for april?? HELP!!

Hi Lisa!  Thanks for your question.  There are a couple of things you need to weigh out in making your decision on when to visit Walt Disney World.  In December or April, the weather will be nice - not too hot, but the crowd levels will be heavy.  At the end of July or early August, the crowds should be somewhat lighter, but you will be right in the middle of the summer heat.  Also, April and December are generally considered a higher season than late July/early August, and the prices for the resorts may be higher.

It is definitely not too late to plan for April of 2014.  In fact, the package rates have not yet been released, but should be shortly.  Good luck with your decision, and I wish you a magical day Lisa!
