I have plans for my group to be at Hollywood studio after hours on 7/9 then stay the night at cabins at ft. wilderness. I'm thinking about maybe doing a park hopper on 7/10. Is is possible to do Magic, Epcot, and animal kingdom in 1 day?

Welcome to planDisney, Denise! I'm so glad you brought your question to us today; I'm always happy to chat about park-hopping strategies - it's my favorite way to squeeze as much magic as possible into a Disney day!

Denise, while you won't be able to experience every attraction at those three theme parks in just one day, it is possible to visit each of them on the same day with a little advance planning! My family just recently completed a challenge to visit all 4 theme parks in a single day, so I'm happy to share a few tips and tricks we used along the way to make the most of our time!

A few things to consider when visiting multiple parks on the same day are transportation options, park hours, and can't-miss attractions and experiences. I'd also recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass to help maximize your time and minimize your waits; with your Park Hopper ticket, you're able to make your first 3 selections at whichever park you'd like, but as you redeem each of those, you're then able to make additional selections at any theme park (subject to availability). So, for example, if you start your day at Animal Kingdom and purchase Lightning Lane Passes for that park, once you've tapped into your preselected attractions, you can then begin choosing additional Lightning Lane Passes for whichever park you're visiting next (and there's no additional cost to do this!) It's really a great way to pack in more attractions across all of the parks you visit that day!

Denise, I'd recommend starting with Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as your first park of the day since it opens earliest. From here, you can take a complimentary Disney bus over to EPCOT, where I'd recommend grabbing lunch at your favorite country in World Showcase, and then taking the Disney Monorail to Magic Kingdom to end your day. Magic Kingdom is typically open the latest, and (in my opinion) the most iconic way to end a Disney day is watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle.

One last tip I'll offer before I let you go, Denise, is that you can also combine Lightning Lane Single Pass for up to two attractions with your Multi Pass purchase. So if there are attractions you want to be sure to experience, you can align your selected return times to fit your schedule so you'll be ready to dive right into a thrilling day!

I hope this helps, Denise! Be sure to grab a photo at each park you visit to commemorate your park-hopping accomplishments, and hop back to planDisney anytime if we can help again!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
