Plans are for 6/29/12 - 7/8/12. How are the crowds and heat then? I think we were spoiled end of Aug-Sept, almost no lines or very short but almost got cancelled by a hurricane. I would like to avoid the hurricane issue.

    Hi Beverly!

That is the trade-off for off-season travel, shorter lines, nicer weather, and the hurricane issue.  We are absolutely spoiled with our Fall trips, and wouldn't have it any other way and occasionally we have to deal with a hurricane.  We rode one out at Disney back in 2005, and it was an interesting experience, but I can understand your worry.

The weather in June and July is typical Florida summer--hot and rainy.  You can expect highs in the 90s and lows in the 70s.  As for crowds, I can tell you that the 4th of July time frame is extremely busy.  It is great fun, but quite a big difference from the crowds you are used to.

    Have a magical vacation!
