Howdy, Theresa! Welcome to planDisney.
Christmas is truly "the most wonderful time of the year" to visit the Disneyland Resort. There's always that magic moment when you first step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. and you find yourself awe-struck by all the Christmas décor. Then you have all the festive music and delicious seasonal treats. Even Scrooge himself would find himself singing carols.
Theresa, unfortunately, there is no special ticketed Christmas event (such as Disney’s Merriest Nites) this year. I'm sorry that this isn't the news you wanted to hear. Nevertheless, there is still
so much to experience and enjoy this Christmas season.
If you take a sleigh ride to Disney California Adventure Park, you can enjoy
Disney Festival of Holidays. Taste some delicious food and drink at the
Festive Food Marketplace and enjoy wonderful entertainment with
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Also, did you know that many attractions throughout the parks will be decked out for the holidays? Make sure you ride Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, and "it's a small world" Holiday.
When it comes to shows, I always look forward to the nighttime spectaculars during the Christmas season.
World of Color - Season of Light and
"Believe... In Holiday Magic" Fireworks are sure to be an explosion of Disney joy.
And, of course, one mustn't forget
Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle.
I hope that gets you excited about your upcoming trip, Theresa. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
