If my plans change, how many times can I change the date of my Park Tickets?

Greetings Joanne and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question.

The weeks leading up to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation are usually full of excitement with preparations, but I always bear in mind that life can happen and plans must sometimes be adjusted.

You are welcome to modify theme park admission tickets whenever needed under certain terms and conditions depending on ticket type. I do not know what type of tickets you have, but Guests can generally make changes to ticket dates prior to midnight Eastern Standard Time of the day before a ticket’s first valid use date. If you have already made FastPass+ selections and end up changing dates you will need to make new selections (if available) for the new dates you will be visiting. There are currently no fees to modify theme park admission, but additional costs apply for dates that have a higher ticket price. Please note that no refund or credit is given when you change from dates with higher prices to dates with lower prices and that tickets are nonrefundable. In addition, the price for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price after the ticket expiration date.

If you really think you may have to make changes more than once, consider adding the Flexible Dates option to your tickets. With this option you do not have to choose dates, and the first day of use can currently be on or before December 31, 2021. The best part is that you get 14 consecutive days (from first day of use) to use all your ticket days, so this option gives you flexibility and may help you save money depending on how many times you may have to make changes and the new dates of ticket use.

Once again, I am not sure what type of tickets you have, but Guests are welcome to modify tickets online through My Disney Experience, using the My Disney Experience mobile app, by calling (407) 939-5277 or contacting their travel agent in case the tickets were purchased from a travel professional.

Thank you for sending a question our way, Joanne. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical day!
