    Hello. We are planning to come to WDW over Thanksgiving week and still trying to choose the moderate resort and restaurants our children would like. We have a boy, 9 and a girl, 6. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Jennifer!

    I have two boys, ages 12 and 7, and they both love Port Orleans Riverside's pool and playground.  They also love going cane pole fishing there in the morning and taking the boat to Downtown Disney.  It's also my favorite Disney Moderate Resort.  I love the theming and the beautiful landscaping.  My favorite section of Riverside is the Alligator Bayou section.

    If you are coming to Walt Disney World this Thanksgiving, be sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) as soon as possible.  ADRs are critical during a busy time like Thanksgiving.  They can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    My children love Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary, Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge, Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club (but they love seafood), breakfast at Ohana in the Polynesian Resort, the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater in Hollywood Studios, and the Coral Reef in Epcot.
