Hello!  In /3/2012 I am planning a a family vaca for my family of 4. My sons are 8 an 2. This will also be a birthday celebration for my 8 year old. Is there anything a 2 year old can do other then water parks?

Hi Stormey!  This is a wonderful question and I can totally understand your concern.  I have a 3 1/2 year old and he has been almost 10 times in 3 years so we have definitely been able to find lots for him to do!

Each park offers plenty of attractions that are suitable for a 2 year old.  Keep in mind, anything without a height restriction is perfectly fine for a 2 year old to go on. The following Magic Kingdom attractions would be appropriate for your 2 year old: The Haunted Mansion, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, it's a small world, Dumbo, Country Bear Jamboree, The Hall of Presidents, Jungle Cruise, Liberty Square Riverboat, Mad Tea Party, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White's Scary Adventures, and the Walt Disney World Railroad!  As you can see the Magic Kingdom offers an abundance of attractions.

The other theme parks also have their own selection of attractions.  Epcot offers The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Spaceship Earth, Turtle Talk with Crush, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Gran Siesta Tour, Journey into Imagination, and Living with the Land.

Disney's Hollywood Studios offers the following attractions:  Toy Story Mania, Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, Disney Junior - Live on Stage, The Great Movie Ride, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Lastly, Disney's Animal Kingdom offers the following attractions: Kilimanjaro Safaris, TriceraTop Spin, Rafiki's Planet Watch, as well as a wide variety of live animal exhibits and presentations.

I hope this shows you there is definitely a wide assortment of attractions and experiences for all ages and that your 2 year old will have just an magical of a time as your 8 year old!!

    Have a magical trip!
