Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Vaggelis! Thank you for stopping by with your question today about your plans to kick off the new year with a bang, with a visit to
Disneyland Paris! My family loves to visit during January as it is the perfect way to avoid the drag that those cold, dark (British) January days can become. A little Disney magic definitely brightens them up!
Great news, Disneyland Paris hosts the nighttime spectacular
Disney Tales of Magic over Sleeping Beauty Castle at park closing time every night of the year! In extremely adverse weather conditions, the show may be cancelled or performed without the drones. Keep in mind that all show schedules are subject to change. One of the reasons we particularly enjoy visiting in January is that as the nights get darker earlier, the nighttime spectacular is usually performed at an earlier time than during the summer months. This is perfect for my two little boys, as they are able to stay awake to enjoy it!
Did you know, you can also book
Reserved Viewing for the nightly show? This guarantees you a spot in the front section, just in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, without having to secure a spot an hour or so in advance. I enjoyed Reserved Viewing on my most recent trip, and it really was a perfect view! This can be booked on the
Disneyland Paris app 7 days in advance, or, if you have booked a
Hotel + Ticket Package directly with Disneyland Paris, you can add it to your package, subject to availability.
Visiting in January, be sure to pack for the weather. Over the years we have experienced all the different weather Paris can throw at us. One thing that has always been consistent is the crisp blue skies in the morning, which have been perfect for family photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Whatever the weather, we have always loved every moment of our stay. Imagineers designed the resort with the potential for rain in mind, and there are plenty of undercover routes to navigate Disneyland Park that are completely unique to
Disneyland Paris, such as Liberty and Discovery Arcades that run the length of Main Street, U.S.A.
I hope this answers your question today, Vaggelis, and that you have a brilliant time visiting Disneyland Paris! If you have any further questions as your trip approaches, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
See ya real soon!
