Hi there, Gurjit! I’m sending you a sunny California welcome from here at planDisney! I love that you’re planning a visit to wrap up 2025 and kick off 2026—what a magical way to
welcome in the New Year at The Happiest Place on Earth!
I’d encourage you to take another look at ticket availability, because as of the time I’m writing this, standard theme park tickets are showing availability for those dates when I walk through the
ticket-purchasing process. I made sure to peek at the
Canadian version of the website just to be sure. In fact,
theme park reservations are currently visible well into early June, since they typically open 180 days in advance.
Based on what you described, Gurjit, it sounds like you may be trying to purchase the
Canada Resident Ticket, which is part of a
limited-time special offer that is only valid for travel through December 31, 2025. Since your visit includes January visits, those dates wouldn’t appear as available under that specific promotional ticket—since it simply isn’t valid beyond the end of December. The good news is that for your trip, you’ll just want to switch over to purchasing standard theme park tickets instead, which should allow you to reserve all three of your planned dates without any issues.
Since you’re traveling right over the holiday transition into the New Year, I’d also recommend booking your tickets and reservations as soon as you’re able. That time of year is incredibly popular, and reserving early will give you the best chance at securing the exact dates you’re hoping for—plus it lets you move ahead with all the fun planning details, like
dining reservations,
nighttime spectaculars, and special seasonal
entertainment.
Gurjit, your countdown to the New Year is already off to a magical start, and I hope this adds just a bit more sparkle to your plans. There’s truly nothing like ringing in the New Year surrounded by twinkling lights, festive music, and Disney magic, and I can’t wait for you to experience it.
See ya real soon!
