Hello we are planning to come to Disney for the first time. We have three kids who all small and under 4. With just two of us we wanted to bring our small push stroller wagon to keep all kids together. Will this be okay or will we be turned down at the gat

    Hi Kristen,

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World visit this fall!  November is one of my favorite months to visit, and not only because it is my birthday month, but because of the festive Fall Events at Walt Disney World.  Additionally, by mid-November most of the Resort hotels and theme parks are decked out with their best holiday decorations so it's like you get to experience two seasons in one visit!

Kristen, according to the current Walt Disney World Property Rules, stroller wagons are not permitted to be used at this time.  I know this isn't what you were hoping for, but I do have a couple of ideas for you.  As a mom to four kiddos myself, I have put many miles on our strollers and have a few tricks to make things easier for you on vacation.  My first trick is to bring or rent a double stroller and also bring an umbrella stroller as your secondary stroller.  My reasoning is that the umbrella stroller can usually be folded and stowed on the back or underneath of the double stroller when not in use.  This is a very handy way of keeping all of your equipment together.  Another method I used the very first time I visited Walt Disney World with 3 young children, is to have two double strollers.  I loved having an empty 4th seat for the backpacks, souvenirs, water bottles, and snacks.  It was so handy not to have to dig underneath the stroller all of the time for an item.  As a bonus, I discovered that if one of my kiddos became "boneless" in the middle of our day, having a stroller dedicated to just that child made it easier for them to recover.

One final piece of information I would like to share with you is this Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones guide.  It is chock full of helpful information to help you get the most out of your family's visit.  I recommend making sure you scroll down to the very bottom and read through the Frequently Asked Questions section as there are many services you may not be aware of but can make your vacation so much more delightful.
