I am planning to take my 14-yr-old daughter to WDW. I like to stay in a budget hotel close to WDW. I do not mind to walk 10-15 minutes to get into the WDW resort to catch the disney bus to take me to the theme park. Is Down Town Disney the closest?

    Hi there Maggie!

There are Hotels, Motels, Holiday Inns... all around the Walt Disney World Resort. The closest  area to stay (walking distance) and have a good shuttle service would be in the Downtown Disney resort district. If you choose anything outside of the entrance to Downtown Disney, you are going to be walking for more than fifteen minutes. I would look into some of the All-Star resorts to see if they have any specials for the dates you are looking to stay. Disney has had some great deals lately and you may be able to find a great rate online. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel if you have more questions, I'm always here to help! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
