Hello there Kim! I think your son is going to have the time of his life! Both of my kids have been at that age and that is when they can first really enjoy most of the rides and shows. It's amazing to watch a four year old's face light up at the Parks. Historically, the best day to arrive is usually on Sunday since the crowd levels are less at the beginning of the week. As the weekend nears, there will be more people in the parks. Disney resorts offer lower rates during those days as well. I would make sure to check out the Disney Dining package to see if that would be an option to save you even more money. Most people can do one park per day if they are content on not seeing everything there is to see in the parks. I could spend a whole week at each park exploring them extensively but we typically just stick to one a day.
To make sure everything is covered, when you arrive, please make sure to check the Park Times Guide for character appearance locations, parade, and show times. Times Guides are available at the Park Entrance, Guest Relations, and most merchandise locations. I hope this helps with your planning. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
