We are planning to take our 4 yr old quintuplets to DW (pry just the Magic Kingdom) and would like to know if you have any suggestions or advice on trying to make this trip affordable including dining with character. No need for a place to stay though.

    Hello Paula!

There are many ways to keep costs down when visiting Walt Disney World. My biggest suggestion for saving money on character dining is to dine during breakfast hours.  Breakfasts are typically the least expensive meal time, and if you're lucky, you can snag a dining reservation before the park even opens!

You can also dine at any of the Walt Disney World Resorts without having to stay there.  For a character breakfast, I highly suggest 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  There, you'll find Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.  The food is delicious (and plentiful) and we found it to be a great value.

However, because you're only visiting the parks for one day, I would suggest dining inside Magic Kingdom Park.  The Crystal Palace is home to a great character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and his friends.  The meal is served buffet-style, so there's something for everyone!  You can really fill up for breakfast and, in turn, eat a later (or lighter) lunch later on.

Another one of our favorite money-saving tips is to bring your own snacks into the parks.  We always bring a small soft-sided cooler stocked with granola bars, trail mix, fruit snacks, and water.  This way, we can give the kids something to snack on in-between meals without having to constantly buy something.  It's a great way to keep the kids happy and ward off any hunger meltdowns.

I hope this has helped!  Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions, Paula.

    Have a Disney day,
    Ashley
