I am planning to take a 3 and 6 yr old, what are the height requirements for rides and are there things for this age group? Also wondering if they are alittle too young, should we wait another year?

    Hello, Amie,

One of the many reasons I love Walt Disney World is because there is something for all ages to enjoy.  We have been visiting as a family for many years, and my sons have had many wonderful trips, even as young as 7 months.  I know he doesn't remember the trip, but we still had a trip filled with so many unforgettable moments (including his first haircut at the Magic Kingdom!).

To help you see the many attractions and entertainment available for guests of all ages, the Disney Parks Blog shared the height requirements for all of the Disney theme parks.  This should help with your planning.  Also, you may want to look over the Preschool Parents' Guide to Walt Disney World for additional hints and tips.  I'd also do an internet search for Disney World Big Kid / Little Kid Attraction Alternatives by Erin Foster, which is a recent blog posting at the independent website Touringplans.com. I think you'll find this to be a helpful article with the ages of your children. Once you look over all of this information, you'll have a better idea if visiting now would work for your family or if it is better to wait a year.
