We're planning my 3 year old son's first trip to Disneyland. When are there fireworks? Is it only during the Summer or are there any during the Winter or Spring?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a magical day. I'm excited that you're planning your son's first trip to the Disneyland Resort soon.

The Disneyland Resort has firework displays throughout the year. From now until the end of the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration, which ends on September 5, 2016, there will be nightly fireworks for Guests to enjoy. My family loves this firework spectacular called "Disneyland Forever". Images are displayed onto buildings along Main Street, U.S.A., as well as onto Matterhorn, "it's a small world", and Sleeping Beauty Castle. These are timed to the music and pyrotechnics.

During the Holidays and springtime, there are fireworks on select nights as well. You can check the entertainment schedule prior to your arrival to see which nights fireworks will be planned for.

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your son a magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Sending you Pixie Dust,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
