Welcome back to planDisney, Tamera!
Tamera, first I want to give a big congratulations to you! I am sure that your little princess will be the best big sister.
Tamera, I have taken my little ones to Walt Disney World since my youngest was just a few weeks old. I honestly feel like those vacations really helped to bond us as a family, and made my oldest feel special in the process.
Tamera, you can take your littlest one on any ride that does not have a
height requirement. When my little one was just a few months old, she went with us on everything from Dumbo to Toy Story Mania!. One thing that really helped was to bring a forward-facing baby carrier. I could keep her strapped in while my oldest still had plenty of room in the ride vehicle with us.
For rides that your little is just too little for, like
Slinky Dog Dash, you can take advantage of the
Rider Switch Service. With Rider Switch, you can ask a Cast Member at the entrance of the line to scan your magic bands. The Cast Member will then direct Group A into the line while group B stays behind with the baby. Once Group A returns, Group B can proceed directly to the FastPass+ line! Rider Service made my oldest feel very special as he got to ride everything twice!
Tamera, while you are at Walt Disney World Resort, you absolutely must visit the
Baby Care Centers. Here you will find the best changing tables in the theme parks, private nursing rooms, and areas for your oldest daughter to relax and watch some TV while you take care of the baby.
We here at planDisney love to help, so please come back here if we can help you plan your fabulous family vacation with your new addition!
See you real soon!
