Planning on going to the World in the first week of October 2009. My question is I would like to stay at the Port Orleans Resort, when should I book the resort by? I know it is small and books up fast. Thanks!!!!

Hi Sean.   If you have your heart set on Port Orleans, I would personally go ahead and book your resort reservation as early in advance as possible.    Its a great resort choice, Port Orleans French Quarter is likely my favorite moderate level resort.

With this said, you likely have some flexibility to wait as October is generally one of the quieter times of year.   However, Disney offers a full refund if you need to cancel or modify as long as you provide sufficient advance notice (will be outlined in your reservation confirmation).   Therefore, once you got a general sense of dates you want to visit, I would proceed with making your reservations.   Hope this helps!
