Planning a 2 wk to WDW w/hubby, 2 kids, their spouses, 2 gkids. We want to stay together. Are there 3 br villas? 1 wk is not enough, planning some down time. Do you recommend deluxe dine plan or other? Is there a way to food shop off campus? Love this site

Oh Robin there is nothing better then spending two weeks at Walt Disney World!  There are many options for the three bedroom villas and your choice might come down to the area you choose to be closest to.  You can check out the choices by clicking HERE and then clicking on Room Types for each location.  You can compare a few of them to see the amenities before making your choice.

Because the Villas will have full kitchen facilities you might not want to consider a dining plan at all.  If you think you will be eating all of the breakfasts and some of the other meals at the Villa then the dining plan would not be best used for your group.  I would definitely not recommend the deluxe plan!  I also don't recommend any dining plan for those families staying on Club Level floors of the resorts as they have access to food, snacks, and drinks all day making it not necessary to have additional money going to the same thing outside that level.

The easiest way to stock your villa kitchen is to use one of the many great grocery services in the area. I have used Garden Grocer several times while at Disney and love their service and the choices you have when ordering.  You can check them out and see the very extensive list and order on line by going to www.gardengrocer.com.  You set up a date for delivery (usually your check-in date), a time period on that day, and then they do the rest. If you are not there they will put all perishables away for you. I always order too much but it all sounds so good!  If you run out of items during your stay they will make additional deliveries as well as the stores in the resorts will carry some basic items.
